There were quite a few elements involved with the roof replacement on this low-set brick home. We replaced two out of the five main roof areas that exist on this property. One was the main roof, where the old metal Trimdek roof was replaced with new Colorbond Bluescope Steel in the corrugated profile, and the colour Monument. This roof area also received new skylights and whirly birds, allowing more light and ventilation into the home. The second roof area was a middle square section which was originally also in the Trimdek profile, and was replaced with Colorbond Kliplok, also in Monument. The installation of Kliplok means the fixings are concealed leaving roof lines clean and smooth. Additionally, as it is also able to be installed on roofs with 1° pitch, Kliplok is a great choice for flat roofs, ensuring the home underneath remains watertight. This home also received the works, getting new gutters (also in Monument) and anti-condensation insulation. The total project took approximately 1.5 weeks. We are absolutely thrilled for these home owners to enjoy their new, safe, watertight roof and the energy efficiency and extra light now permeating throughout their home.
