At Vantage Point Roofing we strongly believe in supporting the people around us, the community, those in need including creatures great and small, and of course mother earth.
Each year we try our best to support different charities both nationally and internationally. We are always open to support more charities so if you know of one, or are currently involved with a charity you think we should support send us a message!
The following pages have a few of our most recent charities we are supporting, take a look. ?
Vantage Point Roofing are supporting our beloved furry family members this Sunday and here’s why you should help us!
‘Million Paws Walk is RSPCA Queensland’s biggest and most important fundraising event of the year. You are encouraged to register for your local walk location and start fundraising today! More than 20,000 people will walk at 22 different locations across Queensland on Sunday 15 May 2016 – join the walk to raise money and awareness for animal care in Queensland. Even if you don’t have a dog, you can still join a walk and raise vital funds.
Money raised through online fundraising, the sale of merchandise and activities on the day will help to fund our critical work in the community, including the care of more than 15,000 dogs entering our shelters each year.
Taking part in the RSPCA Million Paws Walk is a great way to help animals in need. All animal lovers are encouraged to brush off their walking shoes, pull out their pet’s leash and bring along their ‘best friend’ to Australia’s leading pet event.’ (RSPCA 2016)

From the team:
“We have had dogs in the past, and it is extremely important to love them like a family member. Give them the attention they deserve (more than an hour a day). You need to think of them as a child, if your child was sick or abused you would do the walk. It is important we have the same mind-set for animals” – Kath
“I have a beautiful family dog named Teddy (featured below) who will melt anyone’s heart. Especially my sisters. My eldest sister has a mild disability, Ted is her savior, he gives her undivided attention and love. Best of all, not even when he was a pup would he bite or mistreat her as she has given him the respect and love he deserves. Ted is family.
My partner and I recently adopted a pure bred blue staffy, 2 and a half years of age, for those who own a staffy they can relate to the unbelievable connections you can share with these excitable, friendly and crazy dogs. Both Ted and Cruze will be joining us on the walk this Sunday!” – Mariah
This little cutie was adopted by our administrator Caitlin this month. Found by workers in the Archerfield commercial area, this kitten was most likely left abandoned. 🙁
Thankfuly MILO (cute name hey, we think so!) has a warm, loving and caring environment now. RSPCA rescues thousands of kittens, in fact animals of all breeds, from unfortunate circumstances every year. You can do your part by adopting a pet at RSPCA.
Help us help others!
Each year we choose two charities to support, we have tins in our office where our team and clients can donate their loose change. This year we are supporting Camp Quality and RSPCA.
So what can you do?
